Mark Davis is an award-winning musician from Edmonton, Canada. Best-selling music writer, Michael Barclay has called him “one of the most underrated songwriters in the world.”

Mark’s third solo album, Eliminate the Toxins was nominated for the Polaris Prize. His previous solo release, Mistakes I Meant To Make, spent several weeks at #1 on the NCCR Folk / Roots chart.

Mark is a founding member of roots-rock experimentalists Old Reliable, with whom he travelled widely and released four albums. Mark also leads the heavy wave duo, Concealer on bass and vocals. The band’s debut charted for six months on the NCCR Electronic charts and won DJ / Electronic Recording of the Year at the Edmonton Music Awards.

Mark has shared billings or stages with Guy Clark, Alejandro Escovedo, K'naan, Wilson Pickett, Ray Condo, and The Sadies. In the studio, he has collaborated with members of Calexico, Giant Sand, Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund Band, Wilco, Alvvays, and the smalls.

As an Arts Instructor at The Robin Hood Association, Mark produced two albums of songs co-written and performed by musicians with developmental disabilities. He is a recipient of the City of Edmonton Salute to Excellence Committee Performance Award and was a nominee for The Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts ‘Courage to Innovate’ Award.

Mark’s fourth solo album, Just As Somewhere, and Concealer’s second album, It’s Immaterial, will be released in 2025 by his record label, Weatherbelle.
